Summer is in full swing for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. The kids are out of school and frothing on any size surf, the water is warming, the waves are small and everyones Instagram and Facebook blew up with images celebrating the recent summer solstice officially welcoming in summer. Bing Surfboards team rider James Parry grew up surfing the UK so he’s not as jaded as some of us might be about the surf. James is always ready to surf anything and makes any wave look fun. Above are some images from a mediocre afternoon here near the Bing Surfboards factory. Making the most of it and enjoying every minute of it.

Since the opening of the first Bing shop in Leucadia in 2013, becoming a part of the local surf community has been our main goal. Over the years we’ve hosted dozens of events all centered around two things... our love for surfing and bringing the community together. Whether it’s a new board model release party, an art show, or a charitable event we have always found that keeping our gatherings open to the public and heavily attended by the local surf tribe is something you can’t put a price on.
