Lake surfers are so core…

December 16, 2010

Ryan Gerard is the owner and operator of BING Surfboard’s only Great Lakes dealer, Third Coast Surf Shop.Surfers have been sliding freshwater waves since the 1960s but with its recent growth in popularity, Ryan opened up shop in New Buffalo, MI in 2005 and has been leading the charge and spreading the stoke ever since.
This past summer, we were lucky to have Ryan, his wife Erin and a small crew of lake surfers or ”Lakers” (as we fondly named them) join us for a beach day at SanO and an evening of karaoke madness, those guys sure know how to rock the mic !

Above are a few pics of Ryan sliding his 9’4” BING NR Slim and one of him on a recent winter day.
