It's that time of year again, and this year the MexiLogFest 2018 in Saladita, MX, April 29th, 2018 - May 6th, 2018 is sure to go off with some of the best longboarding in the world. The invitee list is stacked and Bing's top riders will be at the event showing their skills on the long peeling lefts!

The MexiLogFest Raffle helps to raise the funds necessary to make the event happen. Our own Israel Preciado puts the event on with limited resources and relies on the small surf business contributions and the raffle to make MexiLogFest an amazing event that attracts the best longboard surfers in the world. This is my 8th visit to Costa Rica, my first being back in 2002. Aged 17 I skipped school for two weeks to go on a surf trip with my old man and a group of longboarders from the UK.

We started in Nosara and worked our way up the coast, spending the last few days at Ollie's point. Back then getting round was much more difficult and the convoluted journey from San Jose took upwards of 7 hours. Now you can fly direct to Liberia from London and be in the ocean within 3 hours of landing.
