Here some words from Luca regarding his latest release.
The film has been shot in the last two years, on different missions, it’s a 25 minute surf stoke film involving few surfers, artists and good friends.
Some of the music has been composed by my band (Not From This Earth), some other by Lex Weinstein and by the Sailor Giovanni Briganti and some by other friends.
It’s a very home made, family project.
NAUSICAA is a journey with two sailing boats in search of adventures, unexplored shores, empty waves in the mediterranean most secluded places living with almost zero carbon footprint. The boats together travelled following Ulisse’s journey with surfers, sailors, free divers, musicians, environmentalists and artists. Josh Peterson, hometown Virginia Beach (born) Haleiwa (currently living), and my brand is Peterson Surfcraft.
When and where did you start surfing? Describe your first surfboard.
I started surfing when I was about 15 in Virginia Beach, and my first board was an old funboard from WRV that was about 7’6” and had glass on thrusters and an insane airbrush.
