15 September, 2014 – O’Neill, the original Northern California surf and lifestyle brand, was proud to unveil a new collaboration with Pendleton Woolen Mills – the family-owned textile manufacturing company, based in Portland, Oregon, that traces its roots back 151 years.
In conjunction with this collaboration Bing Surfboards was approached to create surfboards that incorporated the Pendleton plaid pattern used in their Fall 2014 products. Bing Surfboards was chosen because of the history, authenticity, quality, craftsmanship and California made products that speak to the collaboration between the two American companies.
The surfboards that were made now sit on display at the 4 flagship stores now carrying the colab products as seen in the pictures above. They are Baretta in Den Haag, Netherlands, The Listener in Frankfurt, Germany, The Pendleton shop in Oregon and the O’Neill store in Amsterdam.
