Peninsula Documentary Indiegogo Campaign

March 25, 2014

PENINSULA is the tale of a journey from northern Italy to southern Italy to discover and describe where surfing in Italy came from and what it is like today. Luca Merli is the film maker and producer of this film. He has started an Indiegogo Campaign to help raise money for the completion of the film. Please visit the link below to help support the cause:

David Pecchi (one of the stars of the film) has donated his 1973-74 Bing Bonzer and is now for sale for $1,500 Euros. All the proceeds will go to fund the completion of this project. Please email Luca Merli at if you’re interested in purchasing the surfboard.

1973 Bing Bonzer

This has been an ongoing passion project for Luca and his partners to create and fund this film. They are now in the home stretch of coloring, processing and editing which is always exciting. As with any independent film funding is an issue and your support will go a long way in helping them complete this surfing documentary. The film also features one of our Bing team riders, Alessandro Ponzanelli. Please visit their Indiegogo page and pledge your support for the film.

Great for beach break barrels, fast crossed up peaks, and points. Check Will Allen out ripping his recently in Southern California. Filmed and edited by Ryan Cannon.
