Bing Surfboard team rider Mele Saili made it into the recent issue of Honey Magazine from Japan. We’re stoked to see Mele get coverage from her recent notable activity. The high quality magazine is pretty sweet if you get a chance to check one out. They featured Mele in two articles for this issue. The first is an article on Mele for her art, surfing and lifestyle here in sunny San Diego. Mele also was invited by Deus to the 9ft. & Single competition in Bali earlier in the year where she placed 3rd behind winner Leah Dawson and Kassia Meador. Images and article feature all the female riders that attended the event. Keep an eye out for Mele as she keeps turning heads in and out of the water. We’re stoked to have her representing Bing Surfboards.

Name, hometown, and surfboard brand.
Josh Peterson, hometown Virginia Beach (born) Haleiwa (currently living), and my brand is Peterson Surfcraft.
When and where did you start surfing? Describe your first surfboard.
I started surfing when I was about 15 in Virginia Beach, and my first board was an old funboard from WRV that was about 7’6” and had glass on thrusters and an insane airbrush.
