This month Bing Copeland, joined by Bing Surfboard’s head shaper/designer, Matt Calvani and his wife Margaret, will travel to the Big City and the Jersey Shore for a 3-day book signing tour hosted by select Bing dealers in the region. This biography by former Surfer Magazine editor, Paul Holmes, titled Bing Surfboards: Fifty Years of Craftsmanship and Innovation, was published in 2008 and is now nearing the end of its limited-edition run. So come on down and meet surf industry legend, Bing Copeland, talk shop with shaper/designer, Matt Calvani and don’t miss this chance to get a Bing book while supplies last! (Book price: $60)

New Bing Surf Shop Is Now Open!

We are really excited to announce that the new Bing Surf Shop will be opening this weekend! The new location is at 974 N. Coast Highway 101, in Leucadia, CA. We are moving into the location of previous iconic surf shops ( Surfy Surfy / Longboard Grotto / Leucadia Surf and Ski ). Being that this is our 60th year building surfboards in California, it only makes sense to do it with a bang. To give you a little history about our shop / factory locations since 1959, we asked Bing Copeland to highlight some key dates that indicate the road to where we are today.
