San Diego, Calif., Riders Unite was created by Red Dress Events/Nikki Winters-Reed President, in order to raise awareness and generate funds for local charities, through the celebration of art and music! Peggy Zask Director of South Bay Contemporary/Zask Gallery, is curating this amazing event. We are holding a silent auction, benefitting Surfrider Foundation, Craig W. Cadwallader Chair Member representation. Artwork, signed decks, apparel and more will be auctioned. Josh Peterson, hometown Virginia Beach (born) Haleiwa (currently living), and my brand is Peterson Surfcraft.
When and where did you start surfing? Describe your first surfboard.
I started surfing when I was about 15 in Virginia Beach, and my first board was an old funboard from WRV that was about 7’6” and had glass on thrusters and an insane airbrush.
