Drove Through Blizzards by Anna Ehrgott
I brought a 9’6” Bing Cali Square Tail and a 6’4” Bing Dart. A quiver I figured would cover most of my bases going into a trip that didn’t have a solid destination or plan. I landed in a snowstorm, the first of three during my stay in Iceland, which is a small island next to Greenland, somewhere near the top of the world between Canada and Europe.
Two Fish In the Sea
In late November, I ordered a custom Bing Sunfish. I love a good fish. They're skatey, but give you the power right under your feet. You can pick a floater, fin drift or the most locked in cutback, plus they're much better in bigger waves than most people give them credit for. I ordered it in a yellow that Jeff from the shop called "spicy mustard". It was finished just after New Years.
Matt Calvani Wins the Florida Shape Off at Surf Expo
Congratulations to Matt Calvani, Bing's Master Shaper for winning the Florida Shape Off at Surf Expo. The end goal was to replicate an iconic Dick Catri fish using a balsa blank as the canvas. Matt described the 4 hour project as a tiring but satisfying experience. Especially with taking the win. Congrats Matt!

Impressions Book Signing Event with Thomas Lodin at Bing Surf Shop
A special guest appearance by Thomas Lodin, the photographer behind 'IMPRESSIONS', will be at Bing Surf Shop on Saturday, October 19th from 10am to 1pm signing his latest book release.
