Think Bing Movie Night at Bing Surf Shop
On Saturday, August 31st, we hosted a surf movie night featuring our 60th Anniversary documentary film 'THINK BING' directed by Bryce Lowe White. Malcolm Campbell spoke about his relationship with Bing Copeland dating back to the early 70s when he and his brother Duncan were just beginning to make their visions become reality. We set the screen up in the Coffee Coffee courtyard, which is a great spot for surf movies and stoked the crowd out with an hour of good times. Thanks for everyone that showed up! 15th Annual Leucadia Artwalk at Bing Surf Shop
On Sunday, August 25th, the 15th Annual Leucadia Artwalk will be happening on the 101 highway in Leucadia, CA. Bing Surf Shop is on the path, and we will be hosting a few special guests. Artist, John Van Hamersveld, the creator of the infamous artwork for the "Endless Summer" surf movie by John Severson will be hanging out with Bing Copeland at the shop all day signing autographs and kissing babies. The second premiere of Bing Surfboards 60th Anniversary documentary titled, "THINK BING" was shown on August 21st, 2019 at the California Surf Museum in Oceanside, CA to a full house. The night was lively and full of stoke! The panel of speakers included Bing Copeland ( Founder ), Chris Del Moro ( Artist / Surfer ), Matt Calvani ( Master Shaper ), Bryce Lowe White ( Director ), and Duke Boyd ( creator of Hang Ten ). THINK BING Movie Night at California Surf Museum
On Wednesday, August 21st, we will be showing THINK BING at the California Surf Museum in Oceanside, CA. Tickets are available at surfmuseum.org or they can be purchased at the museum as well. Special guests Bing Copeland, Chris Del Moro III, Matt Calvani, Duke Boyd, and Bryce Lowe White will be speaking about the movie and their parts in creating the legacy of Bing Surfboards. Temples of Stoke at Surfing Heritage and Culture Center
Join us on August 9th at Surfing Heritage and Culture Center from 6pm to 10pm! We will be celebrating the importance of where we learned gained the knowledge to be a surfer... surf shops! Bing Surfboards will be there along with a select group of other shops that were influential to young surfers in California. Art Show, music, food, drinks, fun, and friends. Hope to see ya there!

Ghost Lam Model: Pig Pin
Introducing a new design to the Ghost Lam Project, Bing Master Shaper Matt Calvani created two new midlength options, the 'Pig Pin', and it's sibling, the 'Pig Performer'. Feedback from Bing rider Will Allen, and his dad, the Pig Pin is a welcomed addition to the solid line up of Bing Midlengths.

Izzy Rider Board Release Event at Bing Surf Shop
It was a great night at Bing Surf Shop on Saturday, June 22nd! We released the latest Bing longboard model designed by Israel Preciado and Matt Calvani. Free margaritas with Suerte Tequila were flowing, as well as $5 Dinner plates full of delicious El Nopalito tacos. Movies and music were playing in the Coffee courtyard from 6pm - 9pm. Golden Rule
We were driving at night and thus had already broken one of just two rules we made before crossing the southern border. It wasn’t really our fault. A long construction delay due to recent landslides held us up for over an hour. We passed white crosses on the winding downhill, marking those who’s brakes gave way or tequila got the best of them.
Boardroom Show + Bing Surf Shop Reopening Party 2019
Thanks to all that made it to the Boardroom Show in Del Mar, and to our Bing Surf Shop re-opening party! Lot's of good friends came out to enjoy food by Bird's Eye Kitchen and beers by Saint Archer. We also premiered the movie trailer for our 60th Anniversary documentary series filmed and edited by Bryce Lowe White.
