REILLY STONE

Just 16 years old and Reilly Stone is already making a lasting impact on the longboarding world. Having been born and raised in Santa Cruz, California, Reilly has always been within steps of the ocean and takes full advantage with multiple surfs per day. Reilly caught his first wave at age three in Waikiki, and started surfing competitively at 11 years old.

Reilly has a maturity and work ethic beyond his 16 year age. While he travels the globe for contests, free surfing, and photoshoots he also maintains a high GPA through independent studies and a humbleness that is refreshing. Reilly’s dedication and focus has shown. In the words of his mentor and trainer, World Champion CJ Nelson, “Reilly has one of the smoothest approaches to longboard surfing that I have ever seen. Born and bred on the long walls of Pleasure Point, Reilly is loved and supported by his community. While a lot of kids his age are confused and scattered, Reilly is calmly focused on his passion and spends 90% of his time in the water. I am proud to say that the next generation of northern Californian longboarders is looking good and Reilly is the cream of the crop.
