WILL ALLEN

Surfing has always been a steady reminder of how lucky Will is to enjoy God's creation. He's been surfing since he was six years old. He's spent the past 12 years surfing various breaks from Northern California to Hawaii with his Dad and Friends.

Growing up he felt fortunate to have many positive influences to help him decide which boards to ride. His goal is to ride several different boards, suited for all types of wave conditions. Surfing for Bing has allowed him to do that, while at the same remain true to the history and tradition of surfing.

He loves all things water related and enjoys pushing himself in every aspect of it. Whether prone paddling to Catalina or surfing for 6 straight hours; it all makes him feel rejuvenated.

He credits surfing with helping him get through the hardships and trials life has thrown his way and is extremely grateful for the sport of surfing.

He had always hoped to be a Team Rider someday, and after discovering the Mr. Rodgers Model in his local surf shop, he knew he had to have it. After some cajoling on his part, his Dad eventually gave in and bought it for him.

It was on the Mr. Rodgers Model that he was able to truly develop the art of trimming, push turns and nose riding and was quickly recruited onto the Bing Surf Team.

He's very close to his family and appreciates the support they have always provided. By allowing him to pursue his passion for surfing he has, along the way, made many lifelong friends. One of those friends, and now his mentor, is his board model namesake, Bing Team Captain, Mick Rodgers. He is especially thankful for the friendship, coaching and encouragement Mick provides to him.
